Pirkka, Miss Sexy 2010

This is just so cool! Pirkka Emerald has been wandering back and forth making funny gestures, muttering to herself and changing clothes back and forth. Turns out she has been taking up modelling seriously. And why not, she is one of the hottest avatars I've seen in SL :) It's expensive business hanging out with her because you always want to buy whatever she is wearing haha.


OK anyway past few days have been very hectic for her and checking out her own website will give you an idea what it's about. Being a model is not just walking here, klicking something, do a little turn, then walk out again no no noooo.. It's like a gazillion things to think about and then have loads of luck if SL isn't lagging and things. I don't even want to know about it haha


Anyways she was one of ten finalists chosen from almost a hundred hard working model trainees, some totally new to it, others with many modeling sucesses in the back. Here's what happened:

Anrol Anthony announces: Greetings, Everybody, and Welcome to the final event for our Centerfold Finale Pageant. Tonight we will be giving away guaranteed 100,000 lindens in prizes. yes One Hundred thousand linden! Since its inception in 1958 the --------- Los Angeles, California, has been the hallmark of glamour and fame. Over the last three months, participants in this pageant have had the opportunity to learn the finer points of modeling and stagecraft. Our regular contests have given each of our finalists the opportunity for countless practice sessions -- honing their craft the only way that matters -- on the stage in front of the judges. Furthermore, many of our finalists today have been working models in the Classic w/Style fashion shows working with well known designers in sl. Now remember each category our judges will give them a score from 1 to 10 and ten is the highest score. For each category the judges are going to give you a score from your poses, catwalk, appearance and creativeness. Now let's start calling our finalists. We will start on our first category and our contestants will be wearing their Creative Playboy Bunny outfit.

Anrol Anthony announces: and Now Ladies and Gentlemen our first place finalist Ms Pirkka Emerald

Her name is Pirkka Emerald and she was born/rezzed, into SL on September 11, 2009. The first week here was scary and chaotic. She did not like her appearance, her clothes didn't fit and her hair was bad. She began to carefully study how older AV's looked; asked various AV's where to find better skins and where they bought their clothes. Creating her own personal look became her first priority. Not to mention always looking good, she wanted her own specific appearance, however she never actually changed her shape, only refined it. Her second priority quickly became learning how to get the outfits to fit properly and take note of what was important when buying certain clothes.She became very adept at making the finer adjustments to each of the outfits and realized it took considerable time to make them fit perfectly. She eventually mastered the fine tuning of clothes and accessories which at that point she was satisfied with the results. Pirkka Emerald is very conscious and particular of how she portray her self to people! Her AV is the hallmark that is Pirkka.

Pirkka knew she wanted to model here in SL. Her next step in becoming a top professional was not that huge of an ordeal. It would just take her a little longer than she initially planned. Pirkka was given the opportunity to get her foot in the door via CWS by competing for the Top Sexiest Model 2011 contest. Pirkka is so very grateful to Anrol and Steve for that opportunity. She also enrolled in the UCWS training program and graduated in November 2011 as an elite model. This journey has been very constructive, interesting, but also lots of hard work. The enormous support and guidance she have received here at CWS from her teachers and fellow models has truly been amazing. A big thank you to all of them.

Pirkka was honored to be named Ms. February 2011 and recently became a top 10 finalist in the Top Sexiest 2011 contest. She has participated in and won daily styling competitions. While styling in general isn't her strongside, she's still learning how to be creative. Due to Pirkka's modesty, she feel she's not going secure any huge achievements yet, but she enjoy competing and the whole process of growing personally and professionally. For Pirkka, the present is the most important thing, not what has transpired in the past. She loves to learn and that is what she's trying to achieve every day, one way or another. Pirkka Emerald shares her life here with her husband Adnan Tzal, who gives her strength just by loving and supporting her. Without his support none of this or what she have accomplished, would ever have been possible. She is ever so thankful for him and his support for what she is doing.

Her Playboy Bunny Outfit

Let me introduce to you the Playmate Pirkka! While a conventional Bunny is a waitress and hostess at a Playboy Club, as you can see this is not your average "Bunny Suit!" True to her more adventurous nature and flair for being edgy she take her Bunny representation more towards a darker side. Tossing aside the older more traditional tuxedo-style, Pirkka created a new version of Playboy Bunny. She is anything but traditional and she like the BDSM culture as expressed in fashion. Leaving the more gentile, passive and sweet Bunny back in the 20th century, she donned her studded chaps, collar and grabbed her whip.

All you other gals better watch out because there's a new Playmate in town! She's a woman of today; she don't take no for an answer and she get whatever she want! Anrol Anthony announces: Each contestant has been asked to create a look of their own -- and based on something that inspires or moves them -- and to present it to you here today. In addition, they have written an explanation of the outfit and what it means to them. The theme of our formal is Sexiest formal. As I call each finalist, I will read their explanations as they were presented to me. I am going to paste their description of their outfit also as they present their creative outfit.

For her "Creative Theme Gown" Pirkka wanted to find a special dress that really shows her inner being. This can best be represented by the Australian Aboriginal Goddess, Wurriupranili. She was very special and her daily journey represented in this beautiful gown Pirkka is displaying. Wuri would light a torch made of native bark and sail across the sky from East to West. When her daily journey was complete she stood in the Western Sea and dipped her torch into the twinkling water.

Pirkka's gown spoke to her this way, the intricate threading and beading, pooling and twinkling around the garment, like a setting sun on the ocean. The presentation it makes on her body is classic and sexy without being too provocative. She loved the organic nature and noticed a certain wild quality about it. This dress touched her heart in a special way because it's representation of the cool ocean mingled with the warmth of the sun. Two of her favorite elements in life.

The color scheme also reminded her of a September sun and that month has very special meaning for her, being the month of her birth in real life and her original rez date into Second Life. The profound symbolism was an important representation of her Creative Outfit and she feels deeply honored to share it with all of you.

*Question* is Are looks important in beauty pageant? Why or why not?

Pirkka Emerald: This was certainly a very interesting question. I have been thinking a lot about it many times and have come to the conclusion that it sure isn't easy to give an answer to it unequivocal. Because what defines the beauty? Is beauty what we bring us with help of make-up, clothing and even plastic surgery? Or is it what we are born with, that we have within us? Beauty sure comes in many forms and shapes, and beauty ideally varies some depending on from what part of the world we originate from. But the answer to the question would I believe have to be a yes, it is an important part. So by saying this I know I have to give a hand to you judges for this hard task. I do not envy you one bit! Just look at us for who we are, my fellow contestants and myself. I thank you all for beeing here today and hope you have had a good time with us.

..and there was much rejoicing hahaa, myself i really got chills and a little tear, even. Leaving Pirkka to all the photographing and things I met her later in the night, she was still totally speechless and shaking like a leaf lol. I wanted to snap her with the crown in her own sim. Then we went up to her house and popped a bottle of bubblie and talk about the crazy day that ended much better than we had dared to hopa :) Me: Now we KNOW you're the best, Pirkka! Pirkka: no no I'm not the best. But i AM the sexiest!!!!! Adnan had already prepared with roses and a secret gift :)
